To deliver features like distraction blocking and safe browsing, Oryva requires certain system-level permissions. We are fully transparent about why each one is needed and how it is used.
If you create an account or subscribe to Oryva Pro, we collect only the minimum information necessary:
- Account Information: Your name, email address (for profile syncing across devices), and profile picture if provided.
- Guardian Mode: If enabled, we may store the email address of your accountability partner to facilitate approval requests for settings changes.
- Crash Reports & Analytics (Optional): Anonymized crash logs to help us fix bugs. This data contains no personally identifiable information and can be disabled in your settings.
The majority of your data — including your block lists, daily schedules, and usage statistics — is stored locally on your device. Any account-related data synced to our servers is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard security protocols (TLS 1.3, AES-256).
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party marketers or advertisers. We use only essential, trusted infrastructure partners:
- Payment processing for Oryva Pro, managed securely by Google Play Billing.
- Secure cloud hosting for account authentication.
You are always in control of your data and recovery settings. At any time you can:
- Revoke any system permission directly from your Android Device Settings.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us or navigating to the Account section within the app.
We may update this Privacy Policy as Oryva grows. If we make significant changes — particularly regarding how sensitive permissions are handled — we will notify you via an in-app alert or email before the changes take effect.
